The meeting gathered AEPC Presidency members: President Prof. Dr. Gábor Kovács (HUN), Vice Presidents Luis Farinha (PRT) and Johan van Lare (NLD), Secretary General Peter Lamplot, and Mario Krebs (AUT).
Discussions focused on the handover of presidential responsibilities, a review of AEPC’s current status, and key priorities for 2026. These priorities included upcoming events, strengthened cooperation with partner institutions (such as CEPOL, INTERPA, and ILEA), the formation of working groups, and further tasks resulting from AEPC’s adopted strategy.
Special attention was devoted to preparations for the upcoming Executive Committee Meeting in Oslo on 16–17 April 2026. The Presidency also discussed the Annual Scientific Conference and Governing Board Meeting, which will include the celebration of AEPC’s 30th Anniversary in Budapest on 13–15 October 2026. Other topics included organisational matters such as new communication initiatives, upcoming website enhancements, improved coordination and information flow among member institutions, strengthening the AEPC Liaison Officers Network, and further developing Erasmus cooperation among member countries.
The Round Table finalised the 2026 calendar, confirming key events and ongoing preparations for the Oslo Executive Committee Meeting.
